How Video Ads Work
Marketplaces can set up video ad slots with triggers like automatic, category, or keyword. The campaign creation process for video ads mirrors that of banner ads, requiring users to upload a video, choose a slot, set triggers, and configure campaign details such as budget, name, and duration. Videos uploaded by vendors require marketplace admin approval.
Videos must be between 6 to 30 seconds, with shorter than 20 seconds recommended, and support MP4 or MOV formats up to 200MB.
During an auction request, marketplaces should send the slot ID along with optional contextual details like category and keywords. The auction response will include the video URL.
